What to Expect

Kilkenny Arts Festival returns for 11 days (6-16 August 2026) bringing a vibrant mix of heritage and contemporary creativity to Ireland’s Medieval City. The festival features international theatre, dance, music, visual arts, literature and workshops across multiple venues throughout Kilkenny.

The festival offers opportunities to become a Festival Friend and support the continuation of this internationally renowned celebration of arts and culture. Proceeds from many events support community arts programs and charitable causes.
