St Canice's Credit Union Minor Camogie Summer League Finals

Kilkenny Camogie’s Minor Summer League reaches its finals across three grades on Friday 7 August 2026, with A, B and C deciders all played on the same evening at different venues around the county. The summer league gives minor camogie players a knockout competition to close out the season, separate from the club championship structure that runs later in the year.

What to expect

The Minor C final pits St Martin’s against Blacks and Whites at Muckalee, throw-in 7pm. The Minor B final sees Young Irelands take on James Stephens at Gowran, also throwing in at 7pm. The headline game is the Minor A final, Mooncoin against Tullaroan, played at Mooncoin with a 7.30pm throw-in. Across all three grades, this is the culmination of a summer’s worth of league games for minor camogie players, most of them in their mid-to-late teens, and finals night tends to draw strong club support given the proximity of the games. Kilkenny’s camogie clubs run a full pathway from underage through to adult grades, and nights like this are where the county’s next senior players start to make a name for themselves.

Getting there

Muckalee is a small village west of Kilkenny city on the road toward Ballyragget, with the GAA grounds on the edge of the village. Gowran sits on the N9 to the east of the city, well signposted, and Mooncoin is in the south of the county near the Waterford border, with the club grounds close to the village centre.
