All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Final

At Croke Park · Jones Road, Dublin 3

All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Final

The Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Final is the biggest day in the camogie calendar - the match that crowns the best county team in Ireland after a summer of provincial and group-stage hurling. If Limerick advance through the quarter-final and semi-final stages, the Treaty County will line out at Croke Park on Sunday 9 August for the chance to lift the O’Duffy Cup. It is a day for camogie supporters, GAA families, and anyone who wants to see elite Irish sport at its most atmospheric.

What to expect

The 2026 championship runs under the Glen Dimplex banner, with ten senior county teams split across two groups. Limerick are in Group 2 alongside Kilkenny, Clare, Offaly, Dublin, and Wexford, competing for quarter-final places. The semi-finals take place at FBD Semple Stadium on 25 July, with the two surviving counties meeting at Croke Park a fortnight later. Finals Day typically features the Intermediate and Premier Junior finals on the same card - a full afternoon of camogie at the highest level. The pace and physicality surprise many first-time attendees; come early to settle in and catch the warm-ups.

Getting there

Croke Park is on Jones Road in Dublin 3. From Limerick, the M7 and M50 are the direct road route, but parking near the ground on final day is extremely limited. Connolly station is a 20-minute walk; buses from O’Connell Street drop you close. Trains from Limerick city run regularly to Dublin Heuston, and the Luas Red Line or a city bus covers the rest. Book trains well in advance.

While you’re in Limerick

If you are making a trip of it, or following the team home after the match, Limerick city offers King John’s Castle, the Hunt Museum, and a strong food and pub scene for a celebratory or consolatory pint. There is more to see in Limerick and across Co. Limerick.
