At Dolan's Pub and Restaurant · Dock Road, Limerick City
The Climax Party is the official Pride closing night at Dolan’s - a floor-filling, multi-room spectacle that packs the Dock Road venue with live acts, drag performers, DJs, and an atmosphere that has made it one of the most anticipated nights on the Limerick summer calendar. This is a proper party night aimed squarely at adults who want to celebrate Pride in style, with something happening across every corner of the building from 8:30pm until just before midnight.
Dolan’s takes over all three of its interconnected spaces for the night. The main Warehouse stage hosts the headline act - the Cheeky Girls - alongside a full supporting bill that includes The Magic Men, Miss Burlesque Ireland Bonnie Boux, drag performers Elle Uminati and Miss Bliss, comedian Whimsy the Clown, and DHD 2026 winner Chazz. The night is hosted by Victoria Secret, with Paul Ryder and Regina also on the bill. Upstairs runs a separate room themed around 90s party music. Hosts hand out party props early in the night, and limited free shots are available to those who get in early. A Meet and Greet package is available for those who want early entry, a complimentary drink on arrival, professional photos with the Cheeky Girls, and access to the Upper Deck. All attendees must be 18 or over - ID is required at the door, no exceptions.
Limerick city is well served by road from all directions. The M7 connects from Dublin (about two hours), and the N20 runs up from Cork. From Galway, the N18 brings you in from the west. Irish Rail runs regular services to Limerick Colbert Station, which is a short walk or a quick taxi ride from Dolan’s on the Dock Road. Bus Eireann also operates intercity routes into Limerick. On-street parking is available on and around Dock Road, though Saturday nights fill up - getting in early gives you the best chance of a spot nearby, and it means you will not miss the opening acts.
Limerick has been quietly having a moment, with a strong food and arts scene along the quays and in the Georgian quarter. The King John’s Castle and the Hunt Museum are close to the city centre, and the Treaty City Brewery is worth a visit if you are arriving earlier in the day. There is more to see in Limerick and across Co. Limerick.
