A disco bingo fundraiser lands at Hayes’ Pub on Cappamore’s Main Street on Saturday 3 October 2026, raising money for the haematology ward at Cork University Hospital. Doors open at 8.30pm with the disco bingo running from 9.30pm to 1am, giving the small east Limerick town a proper late night out for a good cause.
The format pairs a dedicated disco bingo DJ with the usual bingo card play, so numbers are called between songs and dance breaks rather than in a quiet hall, keeping the room moving throughout the night. Fancy dress is encouraged, with neon colours or pop-star costumes suggested by organisers, though attending in regular clothes is fine too. The night is aimed at a mixed local crowd out to support the cause and have a dance, and the 17-plus age policy makes it more accessible to a younger crowd than most late-bar nightlife listed for the county. Refunds are available up to seven days ahead if plans change.
