Oldcastle Tidy Towns is an active volunteer-led committee that keeps the north Meath town looking its best. In 2026 they invested in a community sweeper vehicle to supplement the County Council’s service. Regular community clean-up sessions are held throughout the year, with volunteers meeting at agreed points in the town. All equipment is provided and new volunteers are always welcome.

The group also supports the national Tidy Towns competition.
Oldcastle is on the R395 in north Meath, approximately 25km from Navan. Public parking available in the town.
