Neil Delamere - Comedy Night at Dolans Warehouse

At Dolans Warehouse · Dolan's Pub and Restaurant, 3-4 Dock Road, Courtbrack, Limerick, Co. Limerick

Neil Delamere at Dolans Warehouse comedy night

Neil Delamere is one of Ireland’s most consistent live performers, and a night watching him at work is rarely a quiet one. The Cavan man - a regular face on the BBC’s Blame Game, Live at the Apollo, QI and Celebrity Chase - brings a brand new stand-up show to Dolans Warehouse on Sunday 2 August 2026. This is the kind of gig that fills itself: Delamere has a gift for rapid, precise comic timing and a talent for turning everyday observation into something that keeps an audience laughing well past the point they expected. The Sunday Times gave him five stars and called him “a wryly brilliant live performer.” Hard to argue with that.

What to expect

The show runs from 7:30pm to 10:30pm - a proper evening of stand-up rather than a brief set. Delamere arrives with what he describes as a brand new hour packed with tall tales and hilarious stories, circling the question of whether he should fix what isn’t broken. His style is conversational and quick, the kind of comedy that rewards attention rather than passive half-listening. Dolans Warehouse is standing with some unreserved seating, so you can move around, but getting a decent position early pays off. The room holds around 380, which keeps it intimate enough that nothing is lost at the back. Tickets are low availability, so booking in advance is strongly advised. This is an over-18s event and valid photo ID will be required on the door.

Getting there

Dolans is on Dock Road in Limerick city, a short walk from the city centre and easy to find if you are coming in from the M7 or N20. There is on-street parking along Dock Road and in the surrounding streets, though weekend evenings can be busy so arriving a little early is sensible. Bus Eireann runs frequent services into Limerick city from Dublin, Cork, Galway and Tipperary, and the city’s main bus and rail terminus at Colbert Station is about fifteen minutes on foot from Dolans. If you are coming from further afield, Limerick is well served by rail on the Dublin-Limerick intercity line.

While you’re in Limerick

Limerick is worth a full day if you can spare one - the Hunt Museum holds a remarkable collection, King John’s Castle is right on the river, and the stretch along the Shannon quays is pleasant in summer. There is more to see in Limerick and across Co. Limerick.
