What to Expect

The O’Neills Foyle Cup is one of Europe’s largest and most prestigious youth soccer tournaments. The 2026 edition runs from Monday 20 to Saturday 25 July and will welcome a record 1,013 teams - the first time the competition has surpassed the 1,000-team barrier in its 34-year history. More than 20,000 players, coaches and officials take part across boys, girls and disability categories from Under-8 through to Under-19. A record 3,942 matches will be played across 60-plus venues throughout Derry city, Strabane, Limavady, Coleraine, Claudy, Greysteel, Dungiven and Castledawson.

Getting There

Matches are spread across Derry city and the wider North West. The Derry City centre venues are within walking distance of the city centre; outer venues require a car or bus.
