Relay for Life Clare 2026

What to Expect

Relay for Life Clare is a 24-hour fundraising event organised in partnership with the Irish Cancer Society. Teams of walkers take turns on the track at Tim Smythe Park from 1pm on Saturday 21 June to 1pm on Sunday 22 June 2026, keeping at least one team member walking at all times. The event celebrates cancer survivors, honours those who have been lost to cancer, and raises vital funds for cancer research and support services in Ireland.

Supporters can purchase a Candle of Hope to dedicate to a loved one. The event draws teams from schools, businesses, clubs, and community groups across Clare, and the atmosphere is one of community spirit and remembrance.
