At Ennis (venue confirmed on booking) · Ennis, Co. Clare
STARCAMP is one of Ireland’s longest-running performing arts summer camps, operating nationwide since 2007. The Ennis edition takes place at Holy Family Senior School and gives children aged 4 to 12 a week-long run at singing, dancing, acting, magic tricks, treasure hunts and outdoor games - all wrapped up in a finale show called Starcamps Got Talent at the end of every week. If you have a child who lights up on a stage, or one who needs a gentle push to try something new in a low-pressure setting, this is a well-tested format that has been doing exactly that for nearly two decades.
The camp splits into two programmes. Younger children (aged 4-8, from Junior Infants to 2nd class) join STARCAMP itself, which covers singing, hip hop dance, acting and plenty of silliness - teddy bear picnics, superhero adventures and magic. Older children (aged 8-12, 3rd to 6th class) move into STARCREW, a more advanced track that leans into teamwork, leadership and confidence-building through group performances and outdoor activities. Both groups work toward the end-of-week Got Talent show, which gives every child a moment on the stage.
Hours run 9am to 2pm, Monday to Friday. The environment is deliberately non-competitive - the aim is that every child feels genuinely included rather than ranked. Multiple weeks run through July and August, so you can pick the slot that fits the school holiday calendar best.
Sibling discounts of 20 per cent are available when additional camps are booked at the same time online. Prices sit in the €112 to €122 range per week depending on the week selected. Book at starcamp.ie, where you will also fill in the medical information and photo consent forms required before camp begins.
