What to Expect

Steel Magnolias, written by Robert Harling and directed by Emily Foran, is the Lyric Theatre’s flagship summer production for their 75th anniversary season. Set in 1987 in a Louisiana beauty salon, the story follows six women whose friendship is tested by life’s unexpected trials. The play balances sharp wit with genuine emotion and features an all-female cast. It became a beloved 1989 film starring Dolly Parton and Julia Roberts.

Getting There
