At Treaty City Brewery · 24-25 Nicholas Street, Limerick, V94 EH57
Treaty City Brewery hosts a one-off seven course dinner on Wednesday, 12 August 2026, built around a pork theme and cooked live among the brewery’s tanks by chef Keith Pigott. Titled Porkies, the menu runs from porchetta and black pudding through to a pork cheek doughnut, with each course paired to one of the brewery’s own beers. Two sittings are offered, at 5.30pm and 8.30pm, with just seventeen seats at each.
Diners sit among the working brewery tanks and watch Chef Pigott prepare each course in real time, a format Treaty City Brewery calls its Chef’s Table series. The Porkies menu leans on West of Ireland producers and seasonal ingredients, built around a pork theme that takes in porchetta, black pudding and a pork cheek doughnut before finishing with desserts including a rum baba and a peach sour sorbet. Each of the seven courses is paired with one of the brewery’s craft beers, and the brew team talk guests through the beer choices alongside the food, covering how each one is made and why it was picked for that course. With only seventeen spaces at each of the two sittings, it runs as an intimate, small-group dinner rather than a large event, and past sittings in the series have sold out quickly.
Nicholas Street is in Limerick’s Medieval Quarter, close to King John’s Castle and St Mary’s Cathedral, and an easy walk from the city centre and Arthur’s Quay. Street parking and nearby car parks serve the area for anyone driving.
A dinner sitting leaves time either side to walk the Medieval Quarter, with King John’s Castle and the old city walls a few minutes from the brewery door. There is more to see in Limerick and across Co. Limerick.
