The West Cork Chamber Music Festival celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026 with five internationally acclaimed quartets - Doric (UK), Ardeo (France/Japan/South Korea), Tchalik (Ukraine), Marmen, and Chiaroscuro. Up to three concerts are held daily in the intimate setting of Bantry House and other scenic venues. The programme includes Janacek, Brahms, Schubert, Haydn, and contemporary works. Festival Fringe events are free and held on Whiddy, Sherkin, Bere, and Heir Islands and from Skibbereen to Castletownbere.
Bantry is on the N71 road, approximately 90km from Cork city. Limited local bus services; most visitors travel by car.
