What to Expect

The Westmeath Archaeological & Historical Society organises monthly lectures given by historians, archaeologists, and heritage specialists. Topics cover the archaeology and history of County Westmeath, including prehistoric settlements, medieval monasteries, medieval fortifications, 17th and 18th-century history, and local heritage conservation. Lectures are academic but accessible to the interested public.
