Diocese of Meath Lourdes pilgrimage

What to Expect

The Diocese of Meath’s annual Lourdes pilgrimage, led by Bishop Thomas Deenihan, departs September 8, 2026. Pilgrims can choose either a four-night package (September 8-12) departing Dublin to Biarritz, or a five-night package (September 8-13) departing Dublin to Lourdes. All participants are accommodated in hotels with full board.

A detailed spiritual programme includes visits to places associated with St. Bernadette, guided walking tours of the Grotto Domain (visiting the Grotto, the Baths, the Basilicas, and the Stations of the Cross), and opportunities to participate in the Blessing of the Sick, the Blessed Sacrament devotions, and the Torchlight Processions.
