Belvedere House Gardens and Park runs its Home of Halloween programme across the last week of October 2026, from Saturday 24 to Saturday 31, with evening opening from 5pm. Belvedere is part of the Longford and Westmeath hub of the national Ireland Home of Halloween initiative, an all-island programme led by Failte Ireland, Tourism Ireland and Tourism Northern Ireland that in 2025 supported more than 800 events and drew over 300,000 visitors across the participating regions.
Full programming details had not yet been published on the venue’s own listing at time of writing, beyond the confirmed evening opening hours from 5pm across the eight-day run. The wider Longford and Westmeath Home of Halloween hub also includes a Spooktacular Summoning event at Dun na Si Heritage Park, a new Samhain Trail, and a new procession through Athlone, giving a sense of the scale of programming the county is building for the season even where Belvedere’s own line-up is still to be confirmed. Given the estate’s grounds, walled garden and lakeside setting on Lough Ennell, the run is expected to lean on the dark evenings and mature parkland the way past Halloween seasons at Belvedere have, but visitors planning a trip should check belvedere-house.ie closer to the date for the confirmed schedule, pricing and any pre-booking requirements.
Belvedere House is a short drive from Mullingar town centre on the Tullamore road, on the shore of Lough Ennell, with on-site parking.
