Wexford Summer Lifeguard Season

What to Expect

Wexford County Council employs lifeguards at seven principal beaches throughout the summer months from June through September. Lifeguarded beaches offer safe swimming areas with professional supervision during peak summer season. These Blue Flag beaches provide facilities including parking, restrooms, picnic areas and playgrounds for families.

Getting There

The lifeguarded beaches are spread across Wexford county. Courtown is north of Gorey; Curracloe is near Wexford town; Rosslare is south-east; Morriscastle is on the south coast. All are accessible by car with ample parking.
