At Airfield Estate · Overend Avenue, Dundrum, Dublin 14
Airfield Estate’s weekly farmers market takes place every Friday and Saturday from 9am to 2:30pm in the courtyard of this unique working urban farm in Dundrum, Dublin 14. One of Dublin’s most distinctive market settings, Airfield is a 38-acre working farm and heritage estate in the heart of the suburbs, and its regular market draws a loyal local following looking for quality local produce in a genuinely pleasant outdoor environment.
The market offers a strong selection of locally grown fruit and vegetables, fresh bread and pastries, preserves, chutneys, jams, meats, fish and artisan goods. Many of the producers grow or make their products on or near the estate itself, giving the market a genuine connection to the land that is unusual in an urban setting. Sampling is encouraged, and the standard of produce is consistently high.
Entry to the market is free. Airfield Estate itself is open for visits with ticketed access to the gardens, heritage buildings, Jersey cow herd and farm experiences, making it possible to combine a market visit with a broader outing to the estate for families or anyone who wants to spend longer there.
