Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Final 2026

At Croke Park · Jones' Road, Drumcondra, Dublin 3

Camogie players at Croke Park for the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Final

The Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship Final is the biggest day in the inter-county camogie calendar, and in 2026 it takes place at Croke Park on Sunday 9 August. Clare had a strong group-stage run in the 2026 championship, and for supporters making the journey from Ennis and across the county, this is the kind of occasion that does not come along often. Croke Park on All-Ireland Final day is something apart - the crowd and the occasion make it worth the trip regardless of the result.

What to expect

The final brings together the two best senior camogie teams in the country after a season of group-stage and knockout action. The 2026 championship ran across ten county teams in two groups - Clare competed in Group 2 alongside Kilkenny, Limerick, Offaly, Dublin and Wexford. Semi-finals were played at FBD Semple Stadium in Thurles on 25 July, with the two winners going through to the Croke Park decider.

The final is typically played as part of an All-Ireland Finals double-header, so there is a full day of camogie across grades. Croke Park holds 82,000 and camogie finals routinely draw large crowds - arrive early to get your bearings and settle in. Tickets are available from Ticketmaster and camogie.ie; the Camogie Association tends to release allocations through county boards first, so check with Clare GAA early.

Getting there

Clare supporters travelling from Ennis have a straightforward run to Dublin on the M18 and M7 - allow roughly two hours and add time for match-day traffic on approach. Bus Eireann runs express coaches from Ennis to Dublin. Once in Dublin, Croke Park is best reached by Dublin Bus from the city centre, or on foot from Connolly Station (about 15 minutes). Parking near the stadium is very limited on match days - public transport is strongly recommended.

While you’re in Ennis

If you are based in Ennis for the weekend before or after the match, the town has a genuine music and pub culture worth an evening. There is more to see in Ennis and across Co. Clare.
