Alan Davies brings his new stand-up tour Think Ahead to Ulster Hall in Belfast on Tuesday 13 October 2026, his first tour in a decade. Davies is one of British comedy’s most familiar faces, best known for his long-running role in Jonathan Creek and as a fixture on the panel show QI, as well as his own talk show Alan Davies: As Yet Untitled, now in its seventh season. Think Ahead follows successful tours of Australia and the UK in 2025 and a run of New Zealand dates in summer 2026, and reviewers have praised it for “masterful comedic timing and storytelling.” This Belfast date sits within a short Irish leg of the tour that also takes in Cork Opera House and Dublin’s 3Olympia Theatre either side of the Ulster Hall show.

Getting There

Ulster Hall is on Bedford Street in Belfast city centre, a short walk from Donegall Square and City Hall, and well served by Metro and Glider bus routes. Great Victoria Street rail and bus station is a few minutes’ walk away, with several multi-storey car parks within easy reach of the venue.
