What to Expect

Spanish comedian Ignacio Lopez brings his show Nada to the smaller Waterfront Hall Studio in Belfast on Friday 30 October 2026. Rather than a fixed, rehearsed set, Nada is built entirely on the night from audience suggestions, with Lopez creating what the venue describes as “a brand new, completely unique and blisteringly funny stand up show right in front of your eyes, from absolutely nothing.” He draws on his own upbringing split between Mallorca and South Wales, along with the improvised material drawn from the crowd, and over fifteen years of stand-up experience that includes headlining comedy clubs, cruise ships, corporate events and military shows worldwide. Because the show is genuinely improvised, no two performances are the same, giving it a different feel from a standard touring hour.

Getting There

Waterfront Hall sits on the River Lagan in Belfast city centre, a short walk from Belfast Central station and the main city centre bus routes. The venue has its own adjacent multi-storey car park, and the earlier 6:30pm start makes it easy to combine with dinner beforehand in the surrounding Cathedral Quarter or Laganside area.
