Midweek Magic Club, produced by Seedhead Arts, brings its intimate close-up magic night to The Green Room at The Black Box on Wednesday 12 August 2026. Rather than a stage show watched from a distance, the format puts performers at audience tables for a run of micro-performances mixed in with drinks and conversation, over a night that runs roughly two and a half hours. The venue’s own description leans into the informal, slightly chaotic energy of the format: “it’s rough, it’s intimate,” and pitched as something with no real equivalent elsewhere in Belfast.
Expect sleight-of-hand and card tricks performed right at your table rather than a traditional theatre-style magic act, with the comedy coming from the performers’ patter and the close-quarters audience interaction as much as the tricks themselves.
