At Jordanstown Loughshore Park · Loughshore Road, Jordanstown, Newtownabbey, Co. Antrim
Shoreline Festival is Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council’s free annual community festival by the Belfast Lough, held at Jordanstown Loughshore Park on the August bank holiday weekend. The 2026 edition runs on Sunday 30 August from midday to 5pm, with a day-long programme built around live music performances, a range of food stalls, mini-golf, walkabout characters for children and a selection of inflatables and fairground-style rides. The setting on the loughshore path makes it a popular spot for families to bring a picnic and blanket and settle in for the afternoon, and previous years have included tribute acts and children’s entertainment as part of the line-up alongside the core activities.
Jordanstown Loughshore Park sits on the Belfast Lough shoreline path between Newtownabbey and Whiteabbey, close to Jordanstown railway station on the Belfast to Larne line. Car parking is available at the park, and the Loughshore Path connects on foot or by bike from Whiteabbey and Greenisland.
