What to Expect

The Integrated Education Fund presents its annual comedy fundraiser, Stand-Up for Integrated Education, at Ulster Hall in Belfast on Thursday 8 October 2026. The night is one of Northern Ireland’s better-established charity comedy galas, with all money raised going toward the IEF’s work supporting the growth of integrated schools. Colin Murphy compères, drawing on twenty-six years as a fixture of Northern Irish radio and television comedy. Tim McGarry, familiar from Give My Head Peace and The Blame Game, headlines alongside Emer Maguire, named one of the UK’s top ten new comic talents by Channel 4, who brings her signature musical comedy to the bill. Dave Elliott, a regular headline act on the Northern Ireland comedy circuit, joins the lineup for the first time this year. Expect, in Tim McGarry’s own words, “a night full of silliness, satire, and deep belly laughs.”

Getting There

Ulster Hall is on Bedford Street in Belfast city centre, a short walk from Donegall Square and City Hall, and well served by Metro and Glider bus routes. Great Victoria Street rail and bus station is a few minutes’ walk away, with several multi-storey car parks within easy reach for anyone driving in for the evening.
