Tropical Ravine Show and Tell Art Sessions - Belfast Botanic Gardens

What to Expect

Artist Kerrie Hanna hosts free Show and Tell drop-in sessions at the Tropical Ravine inside Belfast’s Botanic Gardens on selected Fridays from 12 June to 9 October 2026, from 1:30pm to 3:00pm. Visitors can watch Kerrie work with plant offcuts collected from the ravine to create stained glass artworks, and learn about her creative process. The sessions are suitable for curious children and families and take place inside one of Belfast’s most unusual Victorian glasshouses.

Botanic Gardens is on Stranmillis Road in south Belfast, off the Lisburn Road. Metro bus routes 7a and 8a stop nearby. Free entry to the gardens and the Tropical Ravine.
