What to Expect

The BOX-IT Athletic Grounds is Armagh GAA’s county ground in Armagh city, hosting senior inter-county football and hurling league and championship matches throughout the season. In 2026 the ground hosted the Ulster Senior Football Championship first round match between Armagh and Tyrone (throw-in 4:15pm, Sunday 12 April), as well as Allianz Hurling League Division 3 fixtures. County club championship finals are also held here in the autumn.

The Athletic Grounds has a capacity of approximately 14,000 and provides a modern GAA venue for the county’s home games.

Getting There

BOX-IT Athletic Grounds is on Athletic Road, Armagh city, a short walk from the city centre and the Mall. Limited parking on match days; road signs direct from the city ring road.
