Armagh parkrun - Weekly 5k

What to Expect

Armagh parkrun is a free, friendly 5k event held every Saturday morning at 9:30am in the grounds of Palace Demesne Public Park. It is volunteer-led and open to all standards - you can walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate. You only need to register once at parkrun.org.uk to receive a personal barcode, which is used to record your time at every event.

The course winds through the parkland setting of Palace Demesne, one of Armagh’s most attractive public spaces. It attracts a regular community crowd and is a consistent fixture in the local calendar.

Good to Know

• Every Saturday at 9:30am - this is a permanent weekly recurring event.

• Free to participate; you must register in advance at parkrun.org.uk before your first visit and bring a printed or digital barcode.

• Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult.

• Wheelchair-friendly sections; dogs on leads welcome at most parkruns.

Getting There

Palace Demesne Public Park is located on the Friary Road on the south side of Armagh city centre, within easy walking distance of the city. Car parking is available at the Palace Demesne.
