Bantry Friday Market - West Cork

What to Expect

Bantry Friday Market is the largest outdoor market in County Cork, held every Friday from 10:00am in the town square. In summer the market stretches across the square with over 100 stalls trading organic fruit and vegetables, artisan cheeses, fresh fish, smoked meats, baked goods, honey, preserves, street food, olives, eggs, plants and local crafts. Local musicians play throughout the morning, creating a lively atmosphere. The first Friday of each month is a fair day with additional traders.

Getting There

Bantry is approximately 85 km west of Cork City on the N71; served by Bus Eireann from Cork City (approx. 2 hours). The market is in the town square, a short walk from the bus stop.
