What to Expect

Barrow Canoe Club runs regular paddling sessions on the River Barrow from their base in Carlow Town during the summer months. Sessions cater for beginners through to experienced kayakers and canoeists. The club has a fleet of club boats and all equipment is provided for beginners. The River Barrow is a beautiful flat-water route with easy access.

Getting There

The club launches from the River Barrow at Carlow Town. The boathouse is accessible from the Barrow Track riverside walk. Car parking available in Carlow Town centre.
