At Shorts Sports and Recreation Club · Aircraft Park, Holywood Road, Belfast, Co. Antrim, BT4 1SJ
Belfast’s most popular car boot sale and flea market takes place every Sunday morning at Shorts Sports and Recreation Club on Holywood Road, east Belfast, running through to late September 2026. Buyers browse a mix of second-hand goods, collectables, antiques, clothing and new merchandise from both private car booters and regular market traders.
The sale blends two crowds - private sellers clearing out attics and garages, and semi-professional traders with a regular pitch - which gives it a wider spread than a typical car boot sale. Arriving early tends to turn up the best finds among the collectables and antiques, while later in the morning is a calmer browse. The venue is a proper sports and recreation club rather than a bare field, so on-site catering, parking, disabled access and toilets are all available, which makes it an easy morning out even for those not planning to buy anything at all.
