Belfast One, in association with Belfast Film Festival, returns to the grounds of City Hall with two Sundays of outdoor cinema on the lawn. Sunday 27 July features a “familiar favourites” theme and Sunday 3 August is a “singalong Sunday.” Each day features four screenings from late morning through the evening, covering all age groups. Films across the two days include Inside Out, Dogman, Moana, Frozen 2, Mamma Mia!, The Greatest Showman, Wicked and Top Gun. Cool FM presenters host between screenings, with face painters, walkabout characters and live entertainment throughout. Exclusive discounts in city centre shops are available to ticket holders.
Dates: Sunday 27 July 2026 and Sunday 3 August 2026; four films screened each day.

Tickets cost GBP 2 per ticket (admin fee); available from 10am Friday 4 July from belfastfilmfestival.org/whats-on, with a second wave on Tuesday 8 July.
Bring warm clothing and picnic blankets; dogs on leads are welcome.
Event is free in spirit - the GBP 2 is an administration fee only.
Belfast City Hall is in Donegall Square in the city centre, a short walk from Great Victoria Street and Botanic train stations and well-served by Metro bus routes. Arrive early as the lawn fills up quickly for popular screenings.
