What to Expect

The Best of Cork Summer Series is an annual Friday night stand-up series at City Limits, Cork’s longest-established comedy club (founded 1993). Resident comedians Paul Crowley and award-winning Micheal The B Roche headline each show, joined by a rotating cast of Cork’s best stand-ups plus a few travelling acts trying out material ahead of the Edinburgh Festival. Shows run for approximately two and a half hours from 8:30pm to 11pm.

The series runs on Fridays from 12 June through 10 July 2026, with individual dates on 12, 19 and 26 June and 3 and 10 July. City Limits holds around 200 people but keeps an intimate feel.

Getting There

City Limits is on Coburg Street in Cork’s Victorian Quarter, close to the MacCurtain Street area. Kent Station is about a 10-minute walk. Several Bus Eireann and Cork City Bus routes serve the MacCurtain Street corridor.
