At Aviva Stadium · Lansdowne Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4
Few artists fill a stadium and make it feel intimate at the same time. Bruno Mars is one of them. On 18 July 2026 he brings his live show to Aviva Stadium in Ballsbridge - a concert that will draw tens of thousands of people from across Ireland and beyond. If you have ever seen him perform, you already know the ticket is worth it. If you have not, this is a good time to start.
Bruno Mars plays a full live band set - no backing tracks, no shortcuts. The production is high-end but the energy comes from the performance itself: tight choreography, strong vocals throughout, and a catalogue that spans 15 years of hits. Expect to hear “Uptown Funk”, “24K Magic”, “Just the Way You Are”, “Locked Out of Heaven”, “That’s What I Like”, and “Grenade”, among others. Gates open at 5pm, giving you time to find your spot, get a drink, and settle in before the show starts at 6:30pm. Both standing (floor) and seated options are available. The Aviva holds up to 65,000 for concerts, so the atmosphere at full capacity is substantial - bring earplugs if you are sensitive to volume, and wear comfortable shoes if you are on the floor.
Aviva Stadium sits on Lansdowne Road, about 2.5 km south of the city centre. The easiest way to arrive is by DART - Lansdowne Road station is a two-minute walk from the stadium entrance. Services run from Connolly, Tara Street, and Pearse Street stations, and there will be extra services running after the show. Dublin Bus routes also serve the area, and the stadium is walkable from the city centre in around 25 minutes along a straightforward route. Driving is possible but parking around Ballsbridge fills quickly on concert nights; public transport is strongly recommended. Taxis and rideshares will be busy after the show, so allow extra time or walk towards the city before hailing one.
Ballsbridge is one of Dublin’s quieter inner suburbs - tree-lined roads, good restaurants along Baggot Street and Pembroke Road, and the RDS nearby. It is a pleasant area to arrive early and have a meal before the gates open. There is more to see in Ballsbridge and across Co. Dublin.
