Waterford Chamber of Commerce holds its Business After Hours networking evening at House of Waterford on Thursday, 27 August 2026, from 5:30pm to 7pm. Business After Hours is the Chamber’s regular informal networking format, moving between member venues and businesses around the city rather than sitting in the Chamber’s own offices, and this edition is hosted at House of Waterford, the crystal visitor centre in the city’s Viking Triangle.
The format is straightforward: an hour and a half of informal networking over drinks and canapes, usually with a short welcome or introduction from the host venue about what they do, followed by open mingling rather than a structured programme of talks. Being hosted at House of Waterford gives the evening a specific local flavour, guests get to see the crystal visitor centre itself, one of the city’s best-known attractions, outside normal opening hours, as much as they get to network. Business After Hours events are free to attend and are aimed at Chamber members and their guests, functioning as a low-key way to meet other local business owners and staff without the formality of a lunch or a full conference. It is one of several Business After Hours evenings the Chamber runs across the year at different member venues around Waterford.
House of Waterford is in the Viking Triangle in Waterford city centre, within walking distance of the quays and the city’s main museums. Public car parks and on-street parking are available nearby for anyone driving in.
