What to Expect

Waterford Chamber of Commerce holds its Business After Hours networking evening at Matrix Recruitment on Thursday, 22 October 2026, from 5:30pm to 7pm. Business After Hours is the Chamber’s regular informal networking format, rotating between member businesses and venues around the city and county rather than being held at the Chamber’s own offices each time, and this edition is hosted by Matrix Recruitment at its Cleaboy Business Park office on the Old Kilmeaden Road. Matrix Recruitment is an Irish-owned recruitment company established in 1998, with a nationwide presence and Waterford as one of its base offices, working across permanent, temporary and contract recruitment in sectors including accounting and finance, engineering, manufacturing and IT. Guests can expect an hour and a half of informal networking over drinks and food, usually opening with a short introduction from the host business about what they do, in keeping with the format of every other Business After Hours evening the Chamber runs across the year at different member venues. It is free to attend and aimed at Chamber members and their guests rather than the general public.
