Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Camogie Championship Quarter-Finals

At Croke Park · Dublin 3, Co. Dublin

All-Ireland camogie quarter-finals

The Glen Dimplex All-Ireland Senior Camogie Championship reaches its knockout stage on the weekend of 4-5 July 2026, with quarter-final double-headers at Croke Park alongside the GAA Senior Hurling semi-finals. Even if Offaly did not secure a top-two finish in Group 2, this is a day worth making the trip for - two top-tier camogie matches back-to-back, with the best counties in Ireland fighting for a semi-final place. The atmosphere at Croke Park on a summer championship day is hard to beat for any Gaelic games follower.

What to expect

Each quarter-final slots in as part of a double-header with a hurling semi-final, so one ticket covers two top-tier camogie matches and a hurling semi. The quarter-final pairings bring together the top two sides from Group 2 against the third and fourth-placed teams from Group 1 - the sides who came through a group that included Galway, Cork, Waterford and Tipperary. Kilkenny topped Group 2 with a perfect four from four, with Clare in second. These are fast, physical, skilful matches, and the standard at All-Ireland quarter-final level is consistently high. Croke Park holds around 82,000 people and the noise when a goal goes in is something else entirely.

Getting there

Croke Park is in Dublin 3, north of the city centre on Jones’s Road, and is one of the most accessible sports venues in Ireland. From Tullamore, the quickest route is via the M6 and M4 motorways into Dublin, roughly an hour and a quarter in clear traffic. Bus Eireann and Irish Rail both serve the Dublin route from Tullamore - trains run from Tullamore station on the Heuston line in around 75 minutes. From the city, Croke Park is a short walk from Connolly station or a bus from O’Connell Street. Parking near the ground is limited on match days; public transport is the sensible choice.

While you’re in Tullamore

Tullamore is the county town of Offaly, sitting on the Grand Canal with a pleasant town centre and the Tullamore D.E.W. Distillery visitor experience drawing visitors year-round. There is more to see in Tullamore and across Co. Offaly.
