At Carrickfergus Community Forum · 31 Lancasterian Street, Carrickfergus, BT38 7AB
The Mid and East Antrim Affordable Food Club operates weekly from the Carrickfergus Community Forum building, giving local households facing cost of living pressure access to good quality groceries and provisions at a reduced cost. The club runs on both Monday and Tuesday mornings, and is open to clients on a low income, including households up to around £16,000 a year who may or may not also be receiving Universal Credit top-ups. It sits alongside the Forum’s wider support work, which also includes the Mid and East Antrim Community Advice Service for benefits, debt and housing queries, and practical employment support through the Belfast Works Connect programme, making the Forum a single point of contact for several forms of everyday household support in Carrickfergus.
Carrickfergus Community Forum is on Lancasterian Street in Carrickfergus town centre, a short walk from the train station and main bus stops. On-street parking is available nearby, and the venue is close to Carrickfergus Castle and the town’s high street.
