At 3Arena · North Wall Quay, Dublin 1
Chappell Roan has had one of the more remarkable rises in recent pop music - from cult favourite to stadium-filling artist in the space of a couple of years - and her September 2026 show at the 3Arena is shaping up to be one of the gigs of the year in Dublin. If you have been hearing her songs on every playlist and wondering what the live show is actually like, the short answer is: it is a full production, camp in the best sense, and the crowd does half the work.
The set draws heavily from her debut album The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, plus the standalone singles that broke her through to a wider audience - ‘Good Luck, Babe!’, ‘HOT TO GO!’, ‘Red Wine Supernova’, ‘Pink Pony Club’, and ‘Femininomenon’ all feature, and the crowd knows every word to all of them. The show leans into her drag-influenced aesthetic: elaborate costumes, choreographed moments, bold neon lighting, and dancers who add to the spectacle without distracting from the songs. Call-and-response sections are a genuine part of the performance - the HOT TO GO! spelling sequence in particular turns 13,000 people into one very enthusiastic choir. Dressing up is very much encouraged, and a good chunk of the audience takes that seriously. Expect sequins, colour, and people who have clearly planned their outfit for weeks.
The 3Arena sits on North Wall Quay in Dublin’s Docklands, right on the Liffey. Public transport is the sensible choice on a concert night. The Luas Red Line runs directly to the venue - the Point Village stop drops you at the front door. DART services connect at Connolly Station, which is a short walk or a Luas stop away. Dublin Bus route 151 also serves the venue. Driving is possible but parking in the Docklands fills quickly on event nights, so build in extra time if you are coming by car. Taxis and ride-hailing apps drop off on the North Wall Quay side.
The Docklands itself has good spots for a pre-show meal, and the city centre is only a 20-minute walk across the river if you want more options. There is more to see in Dublin and across Co. Dublin.
