The Queenstown Story at Cobh Heritage Centre tells the history of three centuries of Irish emigration through the port of Cobh - from coffin ships during the Great Famine, to transportation of convicts to Australia, to the stories of the Titanic and Lusitania. The centre includes immersive audiovisual displays and an expert genealogy service for visitors tracing their Irish ancestors. Located in the restored Victorian railway station attached to Cobh’s train station.
Cobh is accessible by train from Cork Kent Station (approximately 20 minutes). The heritage centre is beside Cobh railway station at Deepwater Quay.
