What to Expect

Cycle the Foyle is Foyle Hospice’s flagship annual cycling fundraiser, celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2026. The 50-mile route sets off from Ebrington Square at 8am, travels along the Foyle to Magilligan, crosses by ferry to Greencastle in Donegal, and finishes back at Foyle Hospice on Culmore Road. All funds raised support Foyle Hospice’s free palliative care services for people living with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses in Derry and the north west.

Registration costs GBP 20 and includes the Magilligan to Greencastle ferry crossing and refreshments. All cyclists are welcomed back at Foyle Hospice with tea, coffee, and home-baked goodies.

Getting There

Ebrington Square is on the east bank of the River Foyle in Derry/Londonderry, accessible by foot across the Peace Bridge from the city centre or by car with parking nearby at Ebrington.
