What to Expect

The Derry Girls Food Tour from Taste the North West explores the sights and flavours connected to Lisa McGee’s celebrated sitcom while sampling some of the city’s best food. The tour visits six diverse foodie locations on both sides of the River Foyle, with highlights including making and competing over cream horns, high-end fish and chips, a flaming Sambuca, and sampling local produce sourced from farms and markets within 80 miles. Tour guides are passionate locals who combine food history with the cultural backdrop of 1990s Derry. Tours run on selected dates from 25 June 2026.
