K-Pop All Stars Tribute

At Millennium Forum · Newmarket Street, Derry, Co. Derry

K-Pop All Stars Tribute

K-Pop All Stars Tribute lands at the Millennium Forum in Derry for a week-long run, bringing the full stadium-pop experience indoors. This is a live tribute show - not a concert by the original artists - but it is built around the real songs, choreography, and spectacle that have made Korean pop one of the most talked-about music movements of the last decade. If you have teenagers at home, or if you have spent any time on the receiving end of BTS or Blackpink playlists, this is the kind of show that rewards going together.

What to expect

The show runs roughly two hours including an interval and covers material from some of the biggest names in K-pop: BTS, Blackpink, NewJeans, Stray Kids, Twice, Itzy, Katseye, and Jung Kook, among others. The staging draws on the visual language of the genre - light sticks, synchronised choreography, rapid-fire costume changes, and production values borrowed from arena tours. The performers deliver original choreography alongside faithful versions of well-known tracks, so there is plenty for fans who know every move and enough spectacle for anyone coming in fresh.

The show carries a recommendation for ages four and upward. There is a content warning for flashing and strobe lighting, which is worth keeping in mind for anyone who is photosensitive.

Bringing a light stick is entirely in the spirit of things if you have one. The Millennium Forum is a seated 1,000-capacity venue - one of the largest theatre stages in Ireland - so sightlines from most seats are good.

Getting there

Derry sits at the north-west corner of Ireland, roughly 75 miles from Belfast and 150 miles from Dublin. By road, take the A6 from Belfast or cross the border from Donegal via the N13/A2. The Foyle Street Bus Station is a short walk from the Millennium Forum and serves routes from Belfast, Dublin, and across the North West. Derry also has a railway station on the Londonderry line from Belfast, with services running several times daily. The station is about a 15-minute walk from the venue, or a quick taxi. Street parking and multi-storey car parks are available close to Newmarket Street in the city centre.

While you’re in Derry

Derry is a compact city and the Millennium Forum sits just inside the old city walls - an evening at the theatre pairs easily with dinner in the Craft Village or a walk along the walls beforehand. There is more to see in Derry and across Co. Derry.
