What to Expect

ATU Donegal’s Careers Office holds its annual Careers Fair on Monday 19 October 2026 at the An Danlann Sports Centre on the Port Road campus in Letterkenny. The fair is designed to connect employers, from multinational corporations to local SMEs, with more than 1,000 students and graduates across disciplines including IT, business, engineering, science, health and design. Companies can book an exhibition stand to advertise internships, work placements and full-time roles, turning the college’s sports hall into a floor of employer stands for the day.

For students and graduates, the fair is a chance to meet a broad cross-section of Donegal and regional employers in one place rather than tracking down individual companies, and to get a feel for what industries are actively recruiting locally. For employers, it is a direct route into ATU Donegal’s student and graduate population, which spans courses in IT, business, engineering, science, health and design, giving companies access to candidates across a wide range of skill sets in a single afternoon.

Good to Know

The fair runs from midday to 3pm and is open to students, graduates and the wider community interested in local employment opportunities, though the event is primarily aimed at connecting ATU Donegal’s own student body with participating employers. Employers wishing to exhibit should contact the ATU Careers Office directly to book a stand ahead of the date. Refunds for exhibitor bookings are available up to seven days before the event. This is an annual fixture on the ATU Donegal calendar, run each autumn as part of the college’s ongoing careers and employability programme.

Getting There

The An Danlann Sports Centre is on the ATU Donegal campus on the Port Road, on the northern edge of Letterkenny, with campus parking available on site for both students and visiting employers attending the fair.
