At Na Fianna GAA Club · Mobhi Road, Glasnevin, Dublin 9, Co. Dublin
Intermediate 2 is the entry point to Dublin camogie’s intermediate ranks, and its Sunday group games run through August across club grounds citywide. On 16 August, Cumann Báire Chaoimhín face Naomh Barróg, Naomh Fionnbarra host St Patrick’s Palmerstown, Na Fianna meet Thomas Davis at Mobhi Road, and Kilmacud Crokes face Clontarf, all throwing in at 12:30. The grade brings together clubs building or rebuilding their camogie sections, and the group format guarantees each side a run of games before any promotion or relegation football is decided later in the season. For clubs like Cumann Báire Chaoimhín, a smaller camogie section fielding a team at this level, a run of Intermediate 2 fixtures is often the main focus of the camogie calendar for the year.
Na Fianna’s grounds on Mobhi Road are in Glasnevin on Dublin’s northside, close to Glasnevin Cemetery and served by Dublin Bus routes along the Botanic Road. Kilmacud Crokes’ grounds are on the southside near Stillorgan. Other grounds are best reached by car; check the host club’s page on dublingaa.ie for directions before travelling, since fixture venues can shift between a club’s pitches depending on what else is scheduled that weekend.
