What to Expect

Sitting directly below Senior 1, the Senior 2 Club Football Championship gives a second wave of Dublin clubs the chance to earn promotion. The round on Saturday 22 August has Naomh Mearnog hosting Fingal Ravens at Portmarnock and Erins Isle facing Pobal Parnell in Finglas for Group 1, St Patrick’s Donabate against St Mary’s Saggart in Donabate and Round Towers Lusk meeting Naomh Barróg at Thomas Ashe Park for Group 2, Fingallians against Scoil Ui Chonaill at Lawless Park and Clanna Gael Fontenoy hosting St Maur’s at Sean Moore Park for Group 3, and St Annes against St Brigid’s in Bohernabreena plus St Sylvester’s meeting St Vincent’s at Broomfield for Group 4. Most kick-offs are 18:30, with the Group 3 tie at Lawless Park starting slightly earlier at 17:00.

Getting There

These fixtures are spread across local club grounds rather than a single county venue, from Portmarnock and Donabate in north county Dublin to Bohernabreena in the southwest foothills. Each ground is best reached by car or local Dublin Bus route; check the individual club’s page on dublingaa.ie for directions to a specific ground before travelling, as parking at smaller club grounds is limited.
