Dublin Horse Show 2026 - Aga Khan Trophy Centenary

At RDS Arena · Merrion Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4

Show jumping at the Dublin Horse Show RDS

What to Expect

The Dublin Horse Show 2026 returns to the Royal Dublin Society in Ballsbridge from 5-9 August, with a special significance: this year marks the centenary of the coveted Aga Khan Trophy, one of the most prestigious team show jumping competitions in the world. The annual Nations Cup held at the show attracts national teams from across Europe and beyond, and the centenary edition promises to be a genuinely landmark occasion in Dublin’s sporting and social calendar.

The five-day event features world-class show jumping across multiple arenas, a busy equestrian trade fair, fashion shows, terrier racing, hound parades and a full programme of social entertainment. The main Anglesea Arena hosts the grandstand events including the speed stakes, Puissance high jump and the Nations Cup itself, which is typically on the Friday afternoon and is the most sought-after ticket of the week.

Beyond the competition, the Horse Show is one of Ireland’s great social events. The RDS grounds become a gathering point for equestrian enthusiasts, fashion-conscious socialites, families and tourists, all drawn by the spectacle, atmosphere and the particular magic that the Horse Show creates in south Dublin every August.
