Dalymount Park, the home of Bohemian FC in Phibsborough since 1901, is closing for redevelopment, with Dublin City Council due to reopen the rebuilt stadium in time for the League of Ireland season in February 2029. Before it does, the club is marking the occasion with The Last Days of Dalymount, four nights of concerts running from Thursday 10 to Sunday 13 September, turning the old ground into a venue for one last send-off.
The lineup runs across the four nights. Thursday 10 September brings an F.D.C DJ set featuring members of Fontaines D.C., alongside THEATRE and Black Nylon. Friday 11 September is headlined by Annie Mac, with Mango and Sally Cinnamon. Saturday 12 September features John Francis Flynn, Bricknasty, Gemma Dunleavy, Brian Brannigan of A Lazarus Soul, Paul Page of Whipping Boy and Róisín El Cherif, alongside an as-yet-unannounced special guest. The closing night on Sunday 13 September is billed as “A Bohemian Fan Farewell,” headlined by Johnny Logan performing with the Eugene McCarthy Big Band.
Tickets are sold through Ticketmaster.ie, with a Bohemians fans presale on Wednesday 29 July at 9am and general sale from Thursday 30 July at 9am. The event is strictly over-18s only, and gate times vary from night to night, with full details available at pod.ie. Given the ground’s significance as the site of countless football memories and music gigs over more than a century, this is a genuinely once-off farewell event for the club and the neighbourhood.
Dalymount Park is on St Peter’s Road in Phibsborough, Dublin 7, close to the North Circular Road. It’s served by numerous Dublin Bus routes through Phibsborough, and is within walking distance of the Luas Green Line at Broadstone.
