What to Expect

The Fastnet Maritime and Folk Festival brings international folk and maritime music, sea shanties and traditional song to the West Cork village of Ballydehob. Now in its 14th year, the 2026 festival features performers including Graham O’Callaghan, Damien Barber, Brian Peters, Matt Cranitch and Jackie Daly, along with Merfolk returning by popular demand. Headline concerts take place in Ballydehob Community Hall, and music spills into the village pubs throughout the weekend.
