Enniskillen’s Halloween parade and fireworks display returns to the town centre on Saturday, 31 October 2026, after Fermanagh and Omagh District Council confirmed funding of up to GBP 25,000 in July, following months of doubt over whether it would go ahead at all. The free event is organised by Experience Enniskillen with backing from Encirc, and typically draws tens of thousands of visitors into the town for the biggest night of the Halloween season in Fermanagh.
The evening opens with a parade through the town centre running from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, before a fireworks display lights up the sky at 8pm. It is the anchor event in a wider week of Halloween programming coordinated across Enniskillen by Experience Enniskillen, local venues and the council, though the parade and fireworks are the single biggest draw. The 2026 display returns after funding was cut in 2025 on budget grounds, leaving its future genuinely in doubt through the spring of 2026: as late as May, organisers said no display was planned, before a council funding reversal in July, backed by Encirc, secured it. Encirc’s Fiacre O’Donnell called it “a fantastic community event that not only brings people together but also delivers a significant economic boost” for local businesses. Expect the town centre to be busy from mid-afternoon, with shops, cafes and pubs geared up for the crowds the display traditionally attracts.
Enniskillen town centre is closed to general traffic along the parade route for the afternoon and evening. Public car parks around the town, including at Erneside Shopping Centre, are the most practical option, with a short walk into the centre from there.
