Foyle Maritime Festival - LegenDerry Food Village 2026

What to Expect

The LegenDerry Food Village forms a key part of the Foyle Maritime Festival, running Thursday 25 to Sunday 28 June 2026 along the River Foyle under the theme “Forged on the Foyle”. Local street food traders and artisan producers set up along the embankment alongside the Maritime Markets, where vendors offer reduced-price meals for children. The festival as a whole attracts over 100,000 visitors and features an impressive fleet of tall ships including the Galeon Andalucia and The Phoenix, circus theatre, live music stages and water-based activities.

Getting There

The Foyle Embankment is easily accessible from the city centre. The Peace Bridge connects the Cityside and Waterside. Citybus services run frequently to Foyle Street bus station.
